Having built a narrative around the supposedly problematic juror, they now face an uncomfortable choice: continue attacking him and risk accusations that their coverage was based on assumptions about who he was, or acknowledge that the reality does not fit as neatly into the narrative they had constructed. The question now is whether those outlets will reconsider their coverage, quietly move on, or simply find a different angle through which to justify the campaign against the juror.
