Disney Director Sohrab Makker: 'No Non-White, Non-Jewish' Hires, Calls CEO 'Corrupt'

Walt Disney Television's Director of Production/Finance, Sohrab "Dave" Makker reveals Disney won't hire anyone "who's not white or not Jewish" for C-Suite roles, confirming discriminatory hiring practices detailed in OMG's 'The Disney Tapes: Part 1.'

Makker, who tracks diversity in annual reports, reveals that the reports “tell us the diverse cast of members that are in there,” and that he has witnessed “the number count go up.”

Makker says Disney prioritizes LGBTQ stories for children, stating, “We insert diversity when it's not really organic to the story,” admitting shows have “flopped” because “the audience didn't connect” to forced diversity.

He calls Disney CEO Bob Iger “corrupt,” saying, “He just wants to stay in power.” He proceeds to criticize Elon Musk, calling him a “narcissist” driven by attention, yet agrees with Musk’s call for Iger’s firing.

"Cyber Terrorist" Sentenced for Swatting: Understanding the Crime and Its Implications

In a significant legal outcome, Ashton Connor Garcia, a 21-year-old from Bremerton, has been sentenced to three years in federal prison for his involvement in a series of swatting incidents. Swatting is a dangerous and illegal activity where someone makes false emergency calls to dispatch police or emergency services to a specific location, often resulting in severe consequences for the victims. Garcia, who referred to himself as a "cyber terrorist," pleaded guilty to federal charges of extortion and threats, highlighting the serious nature of his actions.

The Crime and Its Execution

Garcia's malicious activities took place in 2022, when he used an online phone service to make fraudulent emergency calls to various agencies in the United States and Canada. These calls, which were live-streamed on the communication platform Discord, reported violent crimes that were fabricated. The primary aim of such actions was to provoke a heavy and urgent response from law enforcement, typically involving SWAT teams, hence the term "swatting."

During the incidents, Garcia taunted police and emergency dispatchers, taking perverse pleasure in the chaos and fear he caused. His calls included reports of violent crimes such as shootings and hostage situations, creating panic and potentially putting lives at risk.

What is a Cyber Swatter?

A "cyber swatter" is someone who engages in swatting using digital means. This often involves the use of technology to mask their identity and location, making it difficult for law enforcement to trace the origin of the calls. Cyber swatters exploit online phone services and other communication platforms to execute their pranks or malicious activities anonymously. They may also use live streaming or social media to broadcast their actions to an audience, seeking notoriety or infamy.

The term "cyber swatter" underscores the digital nature of the crime, differentiating it from more traditional forms of harassment or false reporting. It combines the elements of cybercrime—such as hacking and anonymity—with the physical danger posed by falsely mobilizing emergency services.

Hawk Tuah girl - Who is the new TikTok phenomenon and is her grandmother proud of her fame?

Hawk Tuah

Unless you live under a rock, you will have heard of the "Hawk Tuah" girl.

YouTubers Tim & Dee TV were doing "Vox Pops" or "Voice of the People" videos on their Youtube channel, and they come across a very attractive young girl and her friend, they ask them both some questions, and then the meme was born.

First watch the original video as it was released on Instagram.

In the above clip, she responds to a NSFW question in a beautiful Southern accent: "Oh, you gotta give him that hawk tuah and spit on that thing! You get me?".

This clip was then shared on TikTok, and was remixed hundreds of times, leading to this young lady getting internet famous over night with tens of millions of views of her saying "hawk tuah and spit on that thing".

Now as far as I can find out her name is "Hailey Welch", although that has not been 100% verified as of writing.

Hundreds of memes have come from this, some of my favourites are below. But for now we don't know 100% who she is, is she Hailey Welch as some have claimed? Time will tell, afterall she might just want to disappear into obscurity, that or she is meeting with an agent and is planning her OnlyFans career as we speak.

How a Wisconsin man Became an Instant Millionaire by Spinning a Casino Wheel

In a story that feels almost too incredible to believe, a man at the Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, became an instant millionaire on March 25, 2019. During a special promotional event, the lucky participant spun a wheel and landed on the coveted million-dollar prize, transforming his life in a matter of seconds. This extraordinary event not only demonstrates the power of luck but also highlights the thrilling possibilities that arise when someone dares to take a chance.

The Event
The atmosphere at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino was electric on that fateful day. Promotional events like this are designed to inject excitement into the casino experience, offering patrons not just entertainment but also a real chance at winning life-changing sums of money. As the wheel spun and slowly came to a stop, the crowd held its breath, only to erupt in cheers when the man hit the jackpot. His reaction—a blend of disbelief, shock, and pure joy, captured the hearts of everyone present. Even the casino staff shared in the excitement, as the rare moment showcased the extraordinary allure of these high-stakes games.

The Thrill of Taking a Chance
The story of this instant millionaire serves as a powerful reminder of the rewards that can come from taking risks. Life is full of opportunities, and while not everyone will experience a million-dollar windfall, the underlying message is clear: taking calculated risks can lead to unexpected and life-altering outcomes. This man’s experience underscores the importance of stepping out of your comfort zone. In a broader sense, his story is an invitation for everyone to seize opportunities when they arise, as you never know what life might offer.

More Than Just Luck
Although luck plays a significant role in casino games, stories like this also bring into focus the importance of preparation and mindset. Many successful people, whether in business or life, emphasize the value of readiness, being open to opportunities and acting decisively when they present themselves. Whether it’s a job opportunity, an investment, or, in this case, a chance spin at a promotional event, success often favors those who dare to engage.

Responsible Gambling
However, while this man’s story is certainly inspiring, it’s crucial to remember the importance of responsible gambling. Gambling should always be treated as a form of entertainment, not a guaranteed way to make money. Being a responsible gambler means understanding both the excitement and the risks involved.

For those who enjoy betting from the comfort of their homes, platforms like LineBet provide a convenient way to experience this thrill online. You can find more details at LineBet - https://linebet-in-bd.com/linbet-mobile-app/

Here are a few practical tips for gambling responsibly:

Set a Budget: Before you start, decide how much you are willing to spend, and stick to that limit. Treat gambling as an entertainment expense, not an investment.

Understand the Odds: It’s important to remember that the house always has an edge. While winning is possible, the odds are usually stacked against you.

Avoid Chasing Losses: If you find yourself losing more than expected, resist the urge to keep playing in an attempt to win it back. Know when to walk away.

Take Breaks: Gambling should remain a fun, recreational activity. Taking breaks helps maintain a balanced perspective and prevents it from becoming a compulsion.

The Bigger Picture
The impact of this monumental win extends beyond just one person’s financial windfall. For the casino, it became a powerful promotional tool, attracting more guests eager to try their luck, while also highlighting the allure of high-stakes opportunities. The man’s victory serves as a symbol of possibility, reminding people of the excitement and life-altering potential that exists in taking risks—whether in a casino or in life more broadly.

Conclusion
The tale of this Milwaukee man becoming a millionaire at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino is nothing short of extraordinary. But beyond the money, it speaks to a broader narrative about opportunity, risk, and the importance of knowing your limits. Life is often a game of chance, and while moments like this are rare, they serve as a reminder that incredible things can happen when we step up and take a chance. By embracing opportunity and practicing responsible gambling, individuals can enjoy the thrill while staying grounded in reality. Just like in life, sometimes the most rewarding experiences come from a leap of faith.

By Jon Donnis

Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for its highly anticipated Spanish-language crime drama "Women in Blue" ("Las Azules"). This 10-part series, featuring an entirely Hispanic cast and crew, is headlined by Ariel Award nominee Bárbara Mori. The series will premiere globally with the first two episodes on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, followed by weekly episodes through September 25.

Created by International Emmy Award-winning showrunner and director Fernando Rovzar and Pablo Aramendi, "Women in Blue" is set in 1971 and inspired by true events. The series tells the story of four women who defy the ultraconservative norms of their time to join Mexico’s first female police force. Initially, they realize that their squad is merely a publicity stunt to distract the media from a brutal serial killer. However, as the body count rises, these women decide to take action.

The narrative centers on María (Mori), whose determination to catch the killer turns into an obsession. She is joined by Gabina (Amorita Rasgado), the daughter of a respected police officer; Ángeles (Ximena Sariñana), a skilled fingerprint analyst; and Valentina (Natalia Téllez), a young rebel. Together, they initiate a covert investigation, striving to accomplish what their male counterparts have failed to do—bring the serial killer to justice.

The series features a stellar cast including Mori, Sariñana, Téllez, Rasgado, Miguel Rodarte, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Christian Tappán, and Horacio García Rojas. "Women in Blue" is produced by Lemon Studios for Apple TV+, with executive producers Fernando Rovzar, Wendy Riss, Erica Sánchez Su, Sandra Solares, and Billy Rovzar.

"Women in Blue" promises to deliver a compelling story that not only tracks the pursuit of a serial killer but also highlights the social challenges and achievements of pioneering women in law enforcement during a pivotal time in Mexico's history.

Big Tech Is Faking AI

A recent report has revealed that Amazon's "Just Walk Out" AI checkout process is actually managed by 1,000 staff in India. This revelation has sparked criticism against tech companies, which are under increasing pressure to deliver AI solutions. Critics argue that these companies often make fake AI announcements and demonstrations, and sometimes use AI as an excuse for unethical behavior, such as breaking the law and mistreating creators and customers. Google, Amazon, and Microsoft have all faced similar accusations, with their share prices soaring as they make more promises about AI technology.

LYRICS:

Well, there's many a strange impulse out on the plains of West Texas

There's many a young boy who feels things he can't comprehend

And a small town don't like it when somebody falls between sexes

No, a small town don't like it when a cowboy has feelings for men

And I believe to my soul that inside every man, there's the feminine

And inside every lady, there's a deep manly voice loud and clear

Well, a cowboy may brag about things that he's done with his women

But the ones who brag loudest are the ones that are most likely queer

Cowboys are frequently secretly fond of each other

Say, what do you think all them saddles and boots was about?

And there's many a cowboy who don't understand the way that he feels for his brother

And inside every cowboy, there's a lady that'd love to slip out

And there's always somebody who says what the others just whisper

And mostly that someone's the first one to get shot down dead

So when you talk to a cowboy, don't treat him like he was a sister

You can't fuck with a lady that's sleepin' in each cowboy's head

Cowboys are frequently secretly fond of each other

What do you think all them saddles and boots was about?

And there's many a cowboy who don't understand the way that he feels for his brother

And inside every lady, there's a cowboy that wants to come out

And inside every cowboy, there's a lady that'd love to slip out
