Johnny Knoxville and the gang are back for one final ride in Jackass: Best and Last, bringing a new collection of ridiculous stunts, painful challenges and the stupidity that made the series famous.
Jackass began on MTV in 2000, created by Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine and Spike Jonze. Knoxville became the face of the series, joined by Steve-O, Bam Margera, Chris Pontius, Ryan Dunn, Dave England, Ehren McGhehey, Preston Lacy and Jason "Wee Man" Acuña.
The original series ran for three seasons before moving to the big screen with Jackass: The Movie in 2002. It was followed by several more films, including Jackass Number Two, Jackass 3D and Jackass Forever, along with spin-offs and other projects.
The appeal has always been simple. A group of friends do stupid, dangerous and often painful things while laughing at each other and themselves. Over the years, the cast have suffered broken bones, injuries, embarrassment and plenty of situations that probably seemed like terrible ideas even before they started.
Now the gang are back for what is billed as their final film, mixing new stunts with some of the best and funniest moments from the past. After more than two decades of Jackass, this is one last chance to see Knoxville and the gang put themselves through hell for our entertainment.
