During an interview with Inside Edition’s Chief Investigative Correspondent Lisa Guerrero in Branson, Missouri, Copeland defended his use of private jets, stating they are crucial for his ministry. "If I flew commercial, I’d have to stop 65% of what I’m doing," he claimed. Guerrero questioned him about a previous remark where he stated he avoids commercial flights because he doesn’t “want to get into a tube with a bunch of demons.” When asked if he believes human beings are demons, Copeland denied it, responding forcefully, "No, I do not and don’t you ever say I did," while pointing his finger at Guerrero.
