This uproariously amusing monologue was even more hilarious given the circumstances. The week before Rick Moranis took the stage, Bruce Willis was the guest host, indulging in a bit of a one-man show by playing sax with the band and showcasing his myriad talents. While Bruce did a commendable job, some viewers felt it was a tad excessive, perhaps too much of a self-indulgence. Thus, Moranis' monologue was a playful spoof of Willis' earlier performance.
